On the reporting side, again driven by client needs, two main projects were undertaken, one utilizing crystal web reports and classic ASP and a following project which adapted an analytical style.

Around this time GEAC acquired a company specializing in performance management called Comshare. We leveraged a lighter version (called Decision) of the code base of their flagship product MPC. The solution incorporating Decision required some additional ASP web development. The solution developed using Analysis Services also required some ETL automation work. We used our existing corporate reporting database as a staging database. Shown here are the resulting shared dimensions and cubes as part of the analytical solution.
